Each year on the last Sunday of April, St. Andrew's Episcopal Mission in Theriot holds a "Blessing the Fleet." Prayers are said to ask God for a bountiful season, for safety for all fisherman and fisherwomen, and to remember all who lost their lives while working on the waters of south Louisiana. We will keep our brothers and sisters in Christ in our daily prayers throughout the fishing season.
Stepping Stones Young Adult Retreat on Prayer

[Photograph from the Stepping Stones Retreat Instagram Page] The second Stepping Stones Retreat of 2019 was held at St. George's, New Orleans, on Saturday, April 6. The purpose of the Stepping Stones Young Adult Retreats is to give young adults some tools and a means of discernment which is not specifically about discerning a call to ordination. Each day retreat focuses on an aspect of the spiritual life which everyone will struggle with and ultimately discern in his/her life. The theme of this retreat was prayer.

The next retreat will focus on spirituality of relationships. More information will be made available soon.
