Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) for Consumers on Insurance Coverage for COVID-19 Testing and Treatment
We understand that collections can be difficult when patients are under the misimpression that federal law ensures that patients are not responsible for any cost-sharing for COVID-19 testing and treatment. Please review the FAQs below which will help you explain to patients the many loopholes in the federal law which allow insurance companies to foist much of the bill onto patients.

Sponsor an EMRA Resident at the 2021 Solutions Summit in Seattle
Would your group or company like to sponsor an Emergency Medicine Residents' Association (EMRA) resident at the 2021 Solutions Summit? EDPMA has three $2000 EMRA sponsorships available. Your sponsorship would help pay for the residents' registration, hotel, and airfare, so they can attend and learn about the issues facing the business of emergency medicine. This is one of EDPMA’s lowest-cost sponsorships. It is also a great way to gain exposure to both the EMRA and the EDPMA membership.
Thank You to the Virtual Workshop Sponsors
EDPMA was able to offer the virtual workshop in August for free to members due to our generous workshop sponsors. Thank you!
