In the Graduate Division, First Place went to Neal Oza for his poster "Entanglement-Preserving Photonic Switching: Demonstration of Full Cross-Bar Operation with 25-GHz Capability". Second Place was won by Alireza Bonakdar for his project entitled "2PA  enhanced by surface plasmon polartion". A tie  brought both Bao Wang and Yigit Demir to the stage to win Third Prize and an iPod Nano. Bao's project is "Fluorescent Microscopic Fly Eye Nuclei Segmentation and Reconstruction using Graph Cut and Convexity -Concavity Analysis" and Yigit's work is entitled"Galaxy: Pushing the Power and Bandwidth Walls with Optically Connected Disintegrated Processors.

In the Undergraduate Students category, First Place went to Heun Mo Yoo for "Directional Derivative Analysis of the Overshoot and Exchange Enhanced of the g-factor in Si/Si1-xGexHeterostructures"., and Dhrumil Mehta took second place for his project, "Political Framing".

A big Thank You to ALL the participants -- EECS students, faculty, and staff -- who helped make this event a resounding success. Photos of the event will be posted soon.
