December is the month for gift-giving and many of us make charitable gifts to local nonprofits as our AZ Tax Credit contribution. Did you know there are multiple categories of AZ Tax Credits? EEF falls under the Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO 20070) category, but you can also donate to a TUSD Public School.

For those wanting to learn more about the various AZ Tax Credits, I've included website links below. Tax credits are an opportunity for you to direct your own tax dollars to organizations you support instead of letting the State decide where to spend your tax dollars.

SUPPORTING TUSD FAMILIES
Thank you to the EEF board members who joined TUSD staff to distribute Thanksgiving food boxes and grocery gift cards to over 600 TUSD families.
A special thank you to Levi Wallace, Tucson High grad and Buffalo Bill's cornerback, for his generous contribution to give back to his TUSD community. EEF's partnerships with Family Resource Centers and African American Student Services are making students' lives brighter!
YOGA BLOX FOR STUDENTS
Rob Neuendorf of The Wholesale & Open Box Store kindly donated 1000's of brand new Yoga Blox to EEF! We distributed the Yoga Blox to very grateful teachers at Tucson and Rincon/University High Schools and their yoga classes are already using them. The lightweight foam blocks also went to several K-2 classrooms at other TUSD schools for the children to use for stacking, balancing and building.
