Happy June! We are fortunate at EEF to experience so much positivity and support from the community and I want to share some “good feels” with you.
EEF just completed its move to the Palo Verde Family Resource Center (PVFRC) when I received a call from Brent who was a member of the Greater Tucson Leadership Class of 2019 (who founded EEF’s hygiene pantry). Brent asked how his employer, Burns & McDonnell, could help EEF. I mentioned the PVFRC had a ramada they wanted installed near the new hygiene pantry shed. Brent rallied fellow employee volunteers to assemble the ramada over two Saturdays. Not only did they provide the labor, but they brought in decking materials and built a beautiful new deck and the covered ramada

EEF and PVFRC are beyond grateful to Brent and the Burns & McDonnell team!! ❤
Next good feels….EEF, in partnership with TUSD’s African American Student Services (AASS), was awarded a $10,000 grant from the African American Legacy Fund, an initiative of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona! This grant will support the Greatness Academy STEM Mentor Program which focuses on STEM enrichment and STEM camps for African American students. My heart is full knowing these opportunities will make a positive impact in the lives of our African American students. Congratulations to AASS!
One more….you will see below the giant card we received from a Classroom Grant recipient. So touched and reminds us why we are here!
EEF’s annual audit for fiscal year (July 2019-June 2020) was recently completed and the 2019-20 Annual Report is below. This report will be posted on our
