How to Volunteer for an hour at the Halloween Carnival

Be a part of the Halloween Carnival magic by volunteering to run a game or attraction for an hour with another volunteer. On Saturday, October 26 2024, check in at the Music room, grab a name tag and a snack, and enjoy putting smiles on kids' faces as you help transform the school campus into a giant Halloween Carnival.

Each classroom has an attraction to staff, but there are games and attractions that any parent or guardian can sign up to run. There are also opportunities to help set up and clean up if you don't want to miss a minute of the Halloween Carnival.

Right now, each grade is collecting items and donations for unique gift baskets, and we need your help by this Friday!

Our PTK raises funds through a gift basket raffle at the Halloween Carnival, with themes like "LEGO," "Great Outdoors," and "Taste of Santa Fe." Some baskets are worth thousands!

If you’d like to contribute, contact your room rep or reply to this email, and I'll connect you. Every bit helps. Even a $20 donation can make a big difference. Let's make this raffle a success together!

Share Your Sweet Shoppe Favorites!

The Sweet Shoppe is everyone's favorite place to get a treat during the Halloween Carnival.

Do you like to make cute snacks or decorate cupcakes? Share a tray of your goodies with us!. Here's what we're looking for:

• Kinder: Fruits and or treats with fruit: dipped fruit, or chocolate stuffed berries, fruity jello in a cup, or things that involve fruit flavors
• 1st Grade: Cookies: any cookie will do. Decorated for Halloween would be great, but ANY cookie big or small
• 2nd Grade: Brownies: Mummy brownies, bat brownies, spider web brownies, anything spooky
• 3rd Grade: Treats on a Stick: cake pops, suckers, caramel or dipped apples
• 4th Grade: Cupcakes and Mini Cupcakes
• 5th Grade: Savory Treats: charcuterie in cups, popcorn in bags, dipped pretzels
• 6th Grade: Savory Treats: charcuterie in cups, popcorn in bags, dipped pretzels

Do you like to bake cakes? We have a game called the "Cake Walk" at the Halloween Carnival that is like musical chairs, but when the music stops someone wins a cake!

Cash Raffle Fundraiser Update

The Monster Dash scoreboard in the cafeteria has been updated and the kids can't stop talking about it!

We had a big weekend of raffle ticket sales, but it's still anyone's game. The top two classrooms in K-3 and the top two classrooms in grades 4-6 will win a party of their choice. If you haven't sent out a message to your friends and family yet, there is still plenty of time. Copy and paste the cash raffle message on this page to sell raffle tickets and raise money to support our CGE students and teachers.
