An update from the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation
EESF Approves 2020 Budget and Initiatives
The EESF Board of Regents approved its 2020 budget and initiatives during its October 3 rd meeting. The 2020 fiscal year is the first under the new EESF strategic plan. In 2020, the EESF plans to extend the outreach of its “Safe-T-Riders” children’s program to focus on pre-school aged children. It will also be updating and extending its communications on EESF's seniors program, “A Safe Ride.

Also in 2020, EESF plans to engage volunteers willing to present our materials to day-care centers, schools, retirement communities, assisted living facilities, etc. The grassroots efforts of our volunteers remain an important part of EESF’s outreach and the Foundation hopes to revitalize this work in 2020.
November 10-16: National Elevator Escalator Safety Week
