Fall MAP Testing

The MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) is administered twice a year in Edina. For EVP we are offering in person as well as remote sessions that will run simultaneously during the week of October, 25th. In person sessions will be held in our cafeteria to allow for greater spacing and masks will be required. Remote testing is administered from Highlands for students at home. This is a newer method of administering the MAP test and we will learn some lessons. We have scheduled two days for each test rotation.

Please use this form to indicate your preferred setting. MAP Testing Preference Form Please note - once the testing has started, students will be expected to complete the MAP in the same setting.

8am - 10am

  • Test One - Tuesday, October 25th
  • Make Up One - Wednesday, October 26th
  • Test Two - Thursday, October 27th
  • Make Up Two - Friday, October 28th

Virtual "Field Trip"

Richardson Nature Center (Raptors)

We are grateful to our wonderful PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) for providing the funds for this great series of virtual field trips. The Richardson Nature Center has developed excellent virtual classes and we will have 3 of these virtual field trips over the course of this year. The first one, RAPTORS, will be on Friday, November 5th at 1:00pm. We will also have classes in REPTILES and PONDS later on in the school year.

Look for more information about how to login to the event from your teachers in the weeks to come!

Thank you for your support!
