NEW DOWNTOWN MURAL CELEBRATION
Friday Aug 7, 2020 1:00 PM
Eighteen months after the new owner of Aunt Belle’s Confectionery floated the idea of replacing a 15-year-old mural on the side of his building, a new painting will enhance the wall. Muralist Lili Payne of Minneapolis and a crew will begin the work Monday, Aug. 3 and, weather permitting, will finish Friday, Aug. 7. A steering committee representing several community organizations have collaborated on the project which is being made possible by grants, including one from the Region 2 Arts Council, as well as donations and a lot of volunteer work. Heartland Arts and the Park Rapids Downtown Business Association invite the community to join us in celebrating this new art work at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 along the sidewalk north of Aunt Belle’s, 110 Main Ave. So., Park Rapids.

At the Chamber, we strive to facilitate a robust and informative website where information can be found easily. Member's Business Directory Listing, Events, News, Hot Deals, Job Postings, etc. are all a part of  parkrapids.com .

Every Friday News (EFN) links to what is active on our website. We do our best to link to upcoming events at least 2 weeks prior to the event date but now that it's summer and there's so much going on, we can only fit so many things on the list.

The first step: Make sure that your submission - to be - is already listed on  parkrapids.com . This can be done through the Member Portal by either completing a Hot Deal, Job Posting, News Release or Event.
