Erica Hamilton

Founder and CEO

Memo I Never Got (MING)

Erica Hamilton is an accomplished Executive Coach, Management Consultant, and Strategic Advisor. As the CEO and Founder of the strategic advisory firm The Memo I Never Got (MING), she brings over 25 years of leadership and consulting experience across the corporate, philanthropic, nonprofit, and academic sectors.

Erica’s client-first approach, dynamic thought leadership, and dedication to cultivating performance that drives impact have earned Erica a reputation as a trusted partner to finance, workforce development, education, media, leadership development, and technology industries, to name a few.


Before founding MING, Erica’s professional journey included senior leadership roles at Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, City Year, and iMentor. In addition, she has served as a faculty member and lead facilitator at the University of Pennsylvania, New York University, and the Institute for Nonprofit Practice for over a decade.


Erica’s philanthropic endeavors have included serving as a Board Member for the Roosevelt Institute, Arbor Rising, and the Marcy Lab School. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MPA from New York University, and a BA from Harvard. Erica is an officially accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation and also holds an SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Millie Hau

Leadership Coach, CCP, SHRM-CP

Millie is an Executive Coach and Consultant for social impact leaders and organizations, working at the intersection of strategy, people, and operations. At the heart of her work is the belief that self-awareness, trust, and collaboration are essential to building and scaling successful organizations.

She partners with mission-driven leaders to foster these values, aligning them with systems and structures that drive sustainable growth and impact.


Prior to launching her own business, Millie served as head of SEO Scholars, where she transformed a local college access program into a nationally recognized model of Excellence. Under her leadership, student enrollment increased fourfold, admissions to top-tier colleges increased from 36% to 70%, and the program was strategically positioned for expansion into additional cities across the U.S. Her professional experience also includes developing educational products for educational publishing and software companies, building programs for international students, and teaching in K-12 classrooms in NYC, Korea, and Japan. Millie’s areas of expertise are leadership and organizational development, change management, and business operations.

Francisco Tezén

President and CEO

A Better Chance

Francisco Tezén became President and CEO of A Better Chance, an educational access organization, in February 2020, bringing a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, communications, and community-driven initiatives.

Prior to joining A Better Chance, he served as Chief Development Officer at the Food Bank For New York City, where he led efforts to expand the organization's reach and impact.


Throughout his career, Francisco has spearheaded strategic initiatives to increase visibility, foster growth, and drive collaboration for organizations addressing education and poverty on local, national, and global scales.


He has held leadership roles at Year Up, The New School, and Columbia Business School. Francisco currently serves as a board member of Arbor Rising, a Trustee at The Packer Collegiate Institute, and as a judge for the Anthem Awards. He holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and an M.S. from The New School.

About the EGF Leaders-in-Residence Program

The EGF Leaders-in-Residence Program launched in 2024 to leverage the recent, relevant experience of nonprofit leaders and transform it into immediate, relevant applications for the broader nonprofit leadership community. 

In 2024, EGF selected Eliza Pesuit, Founding CEO of Global Glimpse, and AiLun Ku, former President and CEO of The Opportunity Network and VP of Community and Capacity at the EGF Accelerator, to be its first Leaders-in-Residence, providing their depth of experience growing organizations, cultivating talent, and fundraising for critical resources.


During its inaugural year, the Leaders-in-Residence delivered the following programming to over 50 unique community-based organizations:
