Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers in the NY Metro area in more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
The selection process for the Rising Stars list is the same as for Super Lawyers, but Rising Stars are 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.
Only up to 5% of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, and no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list.
