The East Hartford Public Library has collaborated with United Way to offer free tax preparation services to families with household income of up to $55,000.
IRS-certified VITA volunteers from the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut will be at Raymond Library on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏 𝐩𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟒:𝟑𝟎 𝐩𝐦, 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑.

Winter Programs
Register now for adult winter classes!
Aqua Zumba will be held on Mondays and Thursday evenings from 5:30pm – 6:30pm at the East Hartford Middle School pool.
Adult Zumba and Yogalates will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Sunset Ridge Middle School Gymnasium. Zumba will be from 6pm – 7pm and Yogalates will be from 7:15pm – 8pm.

Living Room Conversations offers a simple, sociable and structured way to practice communicating across differences while building understanding and relationships. Each session will gather 4 - 7 people for about 90 minutes to listen to and be heard by others. Rather than debating or convincing others, we take turns talking to share and learn, and be curious. No preparation is required.

Patrons of all ages will have the opportunity to play with a variety of puppets at this Take Your Child to the Library Day program. Connecticut Harm Reduction Alliance - Mobile 1
The Department of Health & Social Services contracted with the CT Harm Reduction Alliance to operate mobile harm reduction services in East Hartford. They provide a multitude of services for residents, including substance use treatment options and referrals, health screenings, shelter referrals, syringe exchange, free works kits to reduce the risk of infectious disease infection from injection drug use, condoms, and free Narcan.

USPS is delivering another round of free COVID-19 tests. Each residential address can order a set of 4 tests. Orders will ship for free starting the week of December 19.
