Tomorrow, December 2, the Albuquerque City Council will meet to discuss Ordinance 24-59 which is designed to require cooling in all residential rental units. As climate change impacts the city, it is critical that renters are protected from increasing temperatures. Heat-related reactions can be deadly as was explained by Dr. Pope at our October Membership meetings.
Tomorrow's meeting will be held in the Vincent E. Griego Council Chambers, basement level at 1 Civic Plaza NW and begins at 5 pm.
