Bringing the multicultural, creative spirit of Ezra Jack Keats
into children's lives and literature
April 2016

Dear Friends,

There’s a lot going on this spring, so we’re trying something different. Instead of delivering a month’s worth of news here and now, we’ll be rolling out new posts every week Keep checking our site for more news about Keats events past and future.

And when April rolls around, it means I’m off to Hattiesburg for the EJK Book Award. As always, I’ll be honoring our winners at the award luncheon and enjoying the rest of Children’s Book Festival, but this year—the de Grummond’s 50th as well as Ezra’s 100th—I’m also giving the Keats Centennial Lecture. Wish me luck!

Take a look below for new additions to the site and coming attractions.
