Nominations and recommendations are due by December 16, 2022.

Lou Edje, MD, MHPE (ELAM ’23) will receive the Distinguished Humanitarian Award from the University of Michigan, Michigan Medicine’s Alumni Society. She was also the recipient of the University of Cincinnati health system’s 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award.


Andrea A. Hayes Dixon, M.D. (ELAM ’20) has been appointed the first Black woman dean of Howard University’s College of Medicine.
