| | Mid-Career Leadership Accelerator Program | | |
The Mid-Career Leadership Accelerator Program, for recently promoted associate professors, is a six-month experience designed to cultivate leadership excellence in academic medicine. Amanda Termuhlen, MD (ELAM '10), is the program director.
This transformative program is tailored to support faculty navigating the pivotal transition into mid-career leadership roles. Participants will engage in six interactive webinars and six group coaching sessions. Each webinar is focused on essential leadership competencies such as developing an effective network, career advancement, developing and supporting others, conflict management, working in teams, and financial literacy. The webinars are presented by renowned coaches and experts in academic medicine to help faculty navigate mid-career dynamics. In addition to the webinars, the group coaching experience fosters peer connection, accountability and promotes deeper learning.

Jessica Bienstock, MD, MPH (ELAM ‘15), was named chair-elect of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Board of Directors.
Lotte Dyrbye, MD (ELAM ‘21), will lead a strengthened, integrated approach to workplace well-being at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine in a new leadership role as executive director of the newly established Office for Well-Being and the Center for Workplace Well-Being Research, known as CU THRIVE.
Inginia Genao, MD (ELAM ‘24), has been announced as inaugural vice dean and vice president of the Office of Health Advancement and Community Engagement at Penn State Health and College of Medicine.
Kathy Griendling, PhD (ELAM ‘09), has been named senior associate dean for Medical Education at Emory University School of Medicine, effective January 1, 2026.
Margaret Larkins-Pettigrew, MD, MEd (ELAM ‘24), was recognized among the Black Professionals Month-Oct. 2025 Global 100 Leading Black Professionals.
Nathalie May, MD, FACP (ELAM ‘23), has been newly appointed to chief medical officer at Drexel Health Clinical Operations, launched by Drexel University.
Anne Mosenthal, MD (ELAM ‘12), was inducted as first vice president of American College of Surgeons.
Alexis Ogdie, MD (ELAM ‘26), has launched and is chief executive officer of Research Pathfinder, which connects research teams to experts to keep scientific discoveries moving.
Nancy Spector, MD (ELAM ‘10), was interviewed by Healio in an article titled “Q&A: Mentorship helps women overcome mid-career leadership hurdles.”
Kimberly Templeton, MD (ELAM ‘21), was appointed deputy editor of Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery Open Access, one of the leading international orthopaedic journals. Dr. Templeton was also named to the Milken Foundation Women's Health Network, an initiative led by Dr. Jill Biden.
Judy Yee, MD (ELAM ‘19), received the Leadership and Innovation Award presented by Mass General Brigham Radiology.

A call for nominations for the 2026 Laura Lynch ELAM/ELH Community Impact Award will be open on Monday, November 3, 2025!
This award recognizes an individual or individuals who have made a significant and positive impact on the ELAM/ELH community. Recipients demonstrate professionalism, commitment and unwavering dedication to fellows, ELUMs, faculty, staff and/or other community members, inspiring others to use their talents and energy to advance the ELAM/ELH program and make a difference in achieving gender equity in academic medicine and/or hospital systems.
The 2025 award recipient was Archana Chatterjee, MD, PhD (ELAM ‘08), who was presented with the award at the ELAM 30th anniversary celebration.
