"We are an organization of churches that is committed
to the mission of Christ to multiply disciple-making churches
through evangelism, leadership training, and connection with
other like-minded churches."
“Embracing Joy”
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!  Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”         Psalm 100:1-5

"What Is your life being controlled by today? Everyone's life is going to be controlled by something. Some are controlled by greed, some by fear, some by hate, some by jealously, and some by anger. Some are even controlled by the power of adversity. So I ask you again, what is the main controlling agent in your life?" Our Update

This has been our prayer in these 15 months of cancer. “O God, our hope is in You and that hope lives in us each day. You are our all in all and we live only to serve You. We have no conception of life apart from you. God, give us the ability to be content in a circumstance that hurts so much. We trust you.”

Pat and Karen Phinney

"This month I would like to look at the topic of unresolved disappointments. To put it simply it is a lack of forgiveness. When we delve into the topic of forgiveness, there is responsibility on numerous levels."

F IRST BAPTIST CHURCH, New Richmond, WI will have an installation service for their new pastor, Jerry Birkholz at 3:00pm on March 3, 2019 at First Baptist. You are welcome to attend.
C ONGRATULATIONS to Pastor Walter Keib, of First Baptist Church in Shelby, OH, on his recent retirement, December 31st.

We'd like to share a little about Walt & his wife, Pearl, as shared by Doug Musser of FB, Shelby.

Pastor Keib served the pastorate of First Baptist Church of Shelby, Ohio from 2011 - 2018 and overall has approximately 50 years of various types of service experience.

As a youngster, H. Walter Keib, Jr. grew up as a Pastor’s son in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until his family moved to Crestline, Ohio. To this day, he continues to reside nearby in Crawford County, Ohio.
With a heart to serve the Lord, he received his education from the Moody Bible Institute, Prairie Bible College, and Bowling Green State University. While at Prairie Bible College, Walt met his wife Pearl, who has also served the Lord all her life. Pearl has an extensive medical background and Bible education. That training paired with her compassionate heart made her a very respected counselor and guide to God's people.
Walt's ministry has included 2 years as a Missionary to Liberia, pastoring churches here in America, as well as in the educational scope as Special Education Director and Athletic Director in Public Schools.
Pastor Keib’s absolute love for God’s people and strong, Biblical knowledge and passion brought masses of people to come to love “Pastor Walt.”
Blessings to Pastor Walt and Pearl Keib as they begin this new chapter in their lives.

"The Ultimate Leap of Faith: Paratroopers Accepting Christ "
" I have learned that for most Paratroopers (including myself) the nervousness that can accompany a jump never completely goes away: the sunken feeling in the stomach, the racing heart, the sweating palms, the moments of real fear when faced with exiting an aircraft while in flight. In those moments we choose to have faith in our Jumpmasters, in our parachutes, and in our pilots. We convince ourselves that our training is sound, our equipment has been checked and re-checked, and that when we exit the door our chutes will deploy, and we will safely land on the ground." Parents: Do These Blinders Prevent You From Protecting Your Child?
"You know by now that  Larry Nasser , the former Team USA gymnastics doctor who molested at least 160 girls, has been sentenced to life in prison. Last week he was confronted by many of his victims in court. A  40-minute address by Rachael Denhollander , who was abused 16 years ago, was especially powerful as  she shared the weight of both God’s truth and grace  with her abuser."
