Hurry! You still have time to submit an Abstract Reviewed Paper!
Only a 500 word to one-page abstract is required for the initial submission of an Abstract Reviewed Paper. The technical committee will review the abstract according to the acceptance criteria specified on the website. If accepted, a one-page extended abstract will be published in the symposium proceedings and the author will present his or her material in a technical session at the symposium. Following the symposium, the author will also be invited to submit a full-length paper (up to 8 pages). Upon acceptance, the paper will be published in the IEEE Journal on Electromagnetic Compatibility Practice and Applications (J-EMCPA), which contains substantial additional technical material. Together with the invitation, the authors receive review comments and feedback from the discussion provided by the session chair to incorporate into the full-length paper. The J-EMCPA will be published on IEEE Xplore

Abstract Reviewed Papers can provide unique opportunities to socialize, exchange ideas and help build a professional community that benefits the development of new technologies.

Food trucks, food carts and food trailers have been a part of traditional culture for hundreds of years. But the modern food truck revolution has spawned culinary choices that appeal to a “foodie” culture with an interest in trying new, exciting delicacies that you can’t get in a standard sit-down restaurant. Decked out food trucks are especially popular in areas with temperate climates where it is so much more enjoyable to eat outside. Street tacos, lobster rolls, BBQ, loaded waffles, indian fry bread and homemade mini donuts are just a few of the delicious choices you can find along the beach to satisfy your cravings.

With the symposium in Long Beach, we couldn’t pass up the chance to test out some of Southern California’s most coveted food trucks. Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge their guilty pleasures with local delicacies in the most basic way. Along with unique So Cal entertainment, we are looking forward to a night of fun, friendship and delicious food.

Join us on Tuesday, July 31 for the Welcome Reception at The Cove in the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.

We continue our innovation for delivering top technical content featuring the Online EMC+SIPI 2018.
