THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING

EMC+SIPI 2024!

On behalf of the organizing committee, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your participation in the EMC+SIPI 2024 Symposium. Your presence and engagement were key to making this event a success, and we are truly grateful for your support.

We had a great turnout, and the week was packed with technical activities that included a record number of Workshops and Tutorials on emerging topics and fundamentals, Technical Paper Sessions that covered the latest in EMC and SIPI research in different fronts, Ask the Experts Panel Discussions that included contemporary topics, Poster Sessions, and 20+ engaging Experiments and Demonstrations on the exhibit floor.

In the exhibit hall, we had a great opportunity to interact with our exhibitors and see the latest EMC and SIPI products and services. In addition, the Student EMC Hardware Design Competition “fox hunt” on the exhibit floor was a big hit! We were excited to have three finalist teams competing with completely unique methods of finding the hidden transmitters. The winners are posted on the Symposium website. In addition, we also had a well-attended Student Poster Session for the six Best Paper Finalists for the EMC and SIPI categories. It’s such a pleasure to see students become engaged in our Symposium activities and we will continue to support student activities in the future.

We were thrilled to see so many passionate professionals come together to share knowledge, discuss innovations, and explore new ideas in the fields of EMC and SIPI. The depth of insight and the quality of discussions were truly inspiring. Your contributions, whether through presentations, panel discussions, or informal conversations, helped create a dynamic and enriching environment. We hope you found the sessions as valuable and stimulating as we did.

The social program included the Welcome Reception, German themed Gala Dinner, Young Professional Networking events, Women in Engineering event, etc. We also got together to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our peers at the annual Awards Luncheon. It was a pleasure to see everyone laughing, dancing, and celebrating together at our social events.

Phoenix, the Symposium host city, has a unique and creative downtown full of artistic murals with an eclectic combination of styles. I hope you were able to enjoy some of the art while also experiencing the variety of restaurants and microbreweries within walking distance of the Convention Center. I’m proud of my city and I hope you come back to visit to experience more of what Arizona has to offer.

It was a wonderful week of education and socializing. It’s always a little bittersweet when the Symposium ends, as we will miss all our friends. But we are invigorated to start the planning for the EMC+SIPI 2025 Symposium.

We hope to see you all next year on August 18 – 22, 2025 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Please watch for future communications!

Sincerely,

Vignesh Rajamani
