May Birthstone

Emerald

Emerald is the birthstone for May, has been beloved for evoking rebirth and renewal. Widely regarded as the definition of green, emerald is the perfect color for spring. Its beautiful green color, combined with durability and rarity, make it one of the most expensive gemstones. Deep green is the most desired color in Emeralds. The pale color Emerald is less in value. Very pale colored stones are not called Emeralds but rather "Green Beryl".

Legend has it that emerald has the power to make its wearer more intelligent and quick-witted, and it was once believed to cure diseases like cholera and malaria. Today, it's the gemstone given for the 20th and 35th wedding anniversaries.Emerald is an excellent stone for reviving passion, whether for an interest, a person, or a job. To attract romantic love, wear or carry an Emerald out of sight near the heart. It heals heartbreak and gives the strength needed to overcome the misfortunes of life. Emerald is also a stone of great vision and intuition, associated with the eyes and sight, long believed to foretell future events and reveal one’s truths. It is a stone of wisdom, enhancing memory and increasing mental clarity. It combines intelligence with discernment and brings to the conscious mind what is unconsciously known. Emerald also increases focus and intent, activating psychic abilities and opening clairvoyance.

Argenti Designer Jewelers Creates Jewelry Designs With Mined Diamonds And Lab Grown Diamonds. This Depends On The Clients Request.

Information Below About Lab Grown Diamonds

Mark Silver at Argenti Designer Jewelers designs in both mined and lab grown diamonds. Both diamond collections of bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings are available in solid 14K yellow or white gold.

Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds with the same crystal structure, chemical composition, and physical properties as the mined rocks, their carbon atoms are arranged in a cubic crystal structure.

With the advancement in technology through the years, our lab-grown diamonds have the same crystal structure, chemical composition and physical properties as mined diamonds.

Lab Grown Diamond is the same as a mined diamond and an affordable luxury for all.

These diamonds are grown in labs, with advanced technological processes that stimulate and create the same conditions under which mined diamonds develop when they form in the mantle, beneath the Earth’s crust.

Lab grown diamonds looks exactly the same as mined diamonds, and the only difference is the origin of the creation. One being mined from the inner Earth and the other created in labs.

The lab diamonds are more environmentally friendly and an option to purchasing mined diamonds.

Lab Grown Diamonds Process

The easy process of creating a lab grown diamond begins with a thin slice of diamond seed that is placed in a sealed chamber. The chamber is filled with carbon rich-gas, such as Methane, and are ionized into plasma using lasers/microwaves technologies. Then the molecular bonds in the gases are broken and the pure carbon slowly crystallizes and sticks to the diamond seed. This process will take between 6-10 weeks to form a lab grown diamond.

We have laser-inscribed certification numbers on larger lab diamonds that are visible under a microscope.

In addition, our mined diamonds are graded and certified by GIA – Gemological Institute of America

as our assurance of excellent quality.

Our lab-grown diamonds are graded using the standard 4Cs method of assessing diamond quality. They all come with a certification of authenticity grading report. We provide the International Gemological Institute (IGI) certification for larger diamonds. Identification is important to us and is always a representation of our quality jewelry.
