Our goal is to help individuals strengthen their mental health, improve overall quality of life, and actively participate in meaningful roles. Through therapy, case management, peer support groups, and psychiatric rehabilitation, we offer care in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.

DECEMBER MENTAL HEALTH REMINDERS 2025

EMRC offers Therapy and Medication Management Services. 

Empowering Minds Resource Center is dedicated to providing community-based care that addresses a wide range of mental health needs. We strive to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness by offering personalized, high-quality services designed to foster community integration and effective care coordination.


Our team of licensed professionals takes a holistic approach to mental health, providing comprehensive assessments, treatment, and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults.


With a focus on empowering individuals, we work to help clients lead healthier, more productive lives through compassionate and professional care.

EMRC provides care coordination for children and adults, helping individuals of all ages access the mental health services and resources they need. Our team collaborates with each person to develop customized care plans, coordinate treatment, and ensure ongoing support, all aimed at improving overall well-being and quality of life.

 

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs for Adults and Minors

PRP Adults


EMRC offers PRP services for adults, focusing on structured group activities that help develop and strengthen independent living skills. The program aims to support individuals in successfully reintegrating into the community and to assist those already engaged in the community in maintaining and enhancing their skills.


PRP Minors



PRP services for minors are focused on fostering positive growth in a youth’s behavior, social skills, and family dynamics. The program is person-centered, aiming to empower each individual, which helps them achieve their personal goals and objectives.

December Awareness & Wellness Highlights



December is a month of reflection, celebration, and awareness. This month, we recognize National Stress-Free Family Holidays Month and World AIDS Awareness Month, encouraging wellness and understanding. Key observances include World AIDS Day on December 1, National Special Education Day on December 2, International Day of Persons With Disabilities on December 3, and Human Rights Day on December 10. We also celebrate the holidays, including Christmas on December 25, Hanukkah from December 25 to January 2, and Kwanzaa from December 26 to January 1.


Together, these observances offer opportunities to foster awareness, center compassion, and uplift the individuals and communities we serve.
