January Awareness & Wellness Highlights

January is a month dedicated to raising awareness around mental wellness and positive community connections. Celebrated on January 3, International Mind-Body Wellness Day encourages us to embrace the benefits of overall health by focusing on the balance of emotions, purpose, habits, and actions. January is also National Mentoring Month, highlighting the importance of guidance and support in personal and professional growth. Additionally, during No Name-Calling Week (January 20–24), communities are reminded to promote kindness, respect, and inclusion in schools and workplaces. Together, these observances encourage reflection, connection, and wellness as we start the new year.

Together, these observances offer opportunities to foster awareness, center compassion, and uplift the individuals and communities we serve.
