We are so excited to announce the cast for the final production in our centennial season, Oh, What A Lovely War!

This modern staging will take this classic, WWI themed play and place it firmly in 2020, within the world of gamers and mega-violent video games, to force a look at how we pass along warlike thinking to the next generation. This show is presented in association with Hart House’s 100th Anniversary and salutes the House’s historic connection to the military efforts in the Great War. The cast contains both new and familiar faces and will open on February 28, 2020.

Lucy McPhee was a student at U of T when she decided to step out of her area of study and explore something new. Little did she know then, that what was a hobby and an 'extra-curricular' activity would quickly become her passion and open up a new world of career possibilities!

In her own words: "I volunteered at Hart House Theatre as an Assistant Stage Manager on several shows between 2014 and 2016 while I was studying Neuroscience and Biochemistry at U of T. After I graduated, I returned to Stage Manage Much Ado About Nothing, and ultimately ended up pursuing Stage Management professionally. Hart House Theatre gave me the opportunity to try something new, and I fell in love with it. I met professional contacts here who are still friends and colleagues now."
