Executive Chef and Owner, Gordon Epperson, started Gordon’s Catering, LLC, back in 1999. Executive Chef Gordon started out as a young Dishwasher at a steakhouse in Wyoming, and advanced quickly up the “kitchen ladder”, discovering that his true passion lie in the culinary industry. Gordon went on to attend the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, California, where he received his professional training and background, with an emphasis in French technique and cuisine. After several years of cooking and catering in the California restaurant and movie arenas, Gordon moved back to Idaho, where he eventually decided to delve out on his own, and thus the beginning of Gordon’s Catering! Gordon’s Catering has been providing the extended Treasure Valley with unique and innovative gourmet catered cuisine for over 20 years. We are a local independent company, and we take pride in providing our clients with exquisite fare, incorporating the freshest locally produced ingredients whenever possible. We even grow our own organic herbs, vegetables and fruits in our huge catering garden! Of course this is seasonal, but when possible, we love to harvest and share the fruits of our labor in preparing our clients’ menus. We also choose to purchase organically when possible, and we custom cater to specific dietary needs and/or restrictions, such as Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan.

Earth Brite rock shop is a rock and gem shop that also offers massage therapy and here soon we will be offering body scans and crystal healing using essential oils. We host a rockhounding club called Earth Brite Rockhounders, to bring the people who love to rock hound together. We do field trips monthly and get togethers for potlucks and offer the club members specials. We do rock polishing and cabochon making classes and after a member takes the class they get to come in once a week and use the polishing equipment free for an hour.

We offer friendly service when you come in and help you out on identifying rocks and crystals and help people search for what they need in the rocks and crystals for healing. We offer classes such as wire wrapping, macramé, silver smith, pendulum, physic 101 and others. The massage is constructed to the person and what is going on with their body since everyone has something different going on with them.

We began our business from our home in 2014 when we began making lamps and night lights from translucent stone called Honeycomb Calcite from Utah. We started doing festivals and vendor events. By 2016 we decided to open our own rock and gem store in Nampa. The location was in a strip mall and we struggled to keep our doors open. We moved to Caldwell at our current location in the old Hostess Bread Store. We have been here for 2.5 years. We fell in love with all types of stones and crystals and started buying rock and crystal collections including used rock saws and polishers. We refurbish and sell this equipment. We currently have over 120 tons of lapidary rock covering a half an acre at our home in Parma which we sell by the pound. This is a family run business by Kurt and Charlene Branham the location of the shop is 3506 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell.
