UPCOMING EVENTS


Tuesday, 11/05 -Election Day & Election Day Shuttle - November 5th is election day! Be sure to visit your polling place to vote if you did not already vote via absentee ballot! EMCC Student Life will be providing rides for students to get out and vote with a shuttle leaving from the Maine Hall Circle every 30 minutes or so.


Tuesday, 11/05 - Student Senate (12:15pm) - The Student Senate is looking for representatives from more academic programs to join them as they discuss issues facing the Student body, their upcoming events, and more. Lunch is provided. Maine Hall 125.


Tuesday, 11/05 - Gaming League (6pm - 8pm) - Enjoy playing games? The gaming league has it all, video, board, and card games! Come down to Maine Hall 117 to participate!


Wednesday, 11/06 & Thursday, 11/07 - Veteran's Day Cards (12:30-4:30) - Join Sam from Student Life in the Maine Hall lobby to write Veteran's Day Cards. These cards will be distributed to local Veteran's Homes in time for Veteran's Day on November 11th.


Wednesday, 11/06 - S.A.F.E. Club (12pm-1pm) - The SAFE Club strives to be that place for every queer and questioning student on campus and those who support them. Join them in Maine Hall 225.


Thursday, 11/07 - National First Gen Day (12:15-1pm) - Calling all #FirstGen students! Come celebrate with the TRIO Team in Maine Hall 117 - trivia, lunch, and lots of fun to be had!


Thursday, 11/07 - Handicraft Club (3 pm - 4pm) - Like making things or enjoy hanging out in a creative environment. Join us at the handicraft club. They have knitting crocheting, sewing, print stamping, and more. Go to Maine Hall 221.


Thursday, 11/07 - Sings and Strings (6:15pm - 8:15pm) - Want to sing your lungs out, or simply need a place to practice your instrument with a community? Go on over to Schoodic Hall 107!



A Reminder about Firearm Safety


Abe Chase, Director of Campus Operations, would like to remind everyone that deer hunting season is now upon us as of 11/2. Everyone should remember that firearms of any sort are not allowed on campus. If anyone has questions, please call EMCC Security at 207-745-6090.
