This month in worship we are exploring our relationship to the United Church of Christ, the group of churches around the nation of which we are a part. Some of our identity is "uniquely Edgewood" but a lot of it is informed by the values, vision, and relationship we have with the UCC. This Sunday in our sermon series we examine what it means to be a part of this wider denomination, and in subsequent Sundays in August we will example the core values of the United Church of Christ: extravagant welcome, continuing testament, and changing lives. Join us as we seek to make connections between our identity as individual disciples, a local church, and a wider denomination.

We are collecting gently used and new clothing for school children (sizes 4T-16) during July and August. Especially needed are new socks and underwear. The goal of Christian Services is to provide a week's worth of new socks and underwear for each child. Last year they helped clothe over 800 children.      Please place your donation in the bin by the social hall. Thank you for helping children in our area.
