Happy New Year!

Thank you to all of our supporters for making 2020 a successful year despite the unusual challenges. Our children, families, and staff are very appreciative.

Wishing YOU a very happy, safe, and healthy 2021!

The EOA Water Assistance Program allows a one-time payment of up to $100 to be made toward a past due water utility bill for low-income customers of Springdale Water Utilities, Fayetteville Water, and Tontitown Water. Lack of access to water is considered a health and safety risk, especially during a public health crisis. As a result, EOA is directing a portion of Community Services Block Grant CARES Act funds toward water utility assistance for income-eligible households with a past due water bill or disconnect notice from a participating water utility supplier. Visit www.eoawc.org to apply for assistance.
Thank you to Laurice Hachem, commercial real estate developer and President of Hachem Investments, for donating $5,000 to assist rental assistance clients with late fees. Approximately 27 income-eligible families had been previously denied rental assistance, after their landlord refused to waive late fees. Mrs. Hachem wanted to remove this barrier, so that families could obtain the assistance needed to remain in their homes. December Activities
We have had a busy month working hard to keep our children and families safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our teachers and support staff are amazing!
Here is a snapshot of just a few of our activities last month:
Our students at our Oak Center made cinnamon ornaments!
Using cookie cutters works great for fine motor skills. Fine motor skills involve the use of the small muscles that control the hand, fingers, and thumb. They help children perform important tasks like feeding themselves, grasping toys, buttoning and zipping clothes, writing, drawing, and more.

Thank you to the 3rd floor residents at Butterfield Trail Village for donating over $1,200 to EOA Children's House! We appreciate your continued support of our program and mission.

Judith Larsen donated seven beautiful handmade quilts for our kiddos. THANK YOU!

The children at our Pat Walker center learned about lights and shadows. They talked about various light sources and how the light makes the shadows form. The kids had fun making shadow puppets with their hands and talking about the animals they were making!

All of our centers took advantage of the snow accumulation by enjoying some fun in the snow. The classrooms also enjoyed many indoor activities utilizing the snow.
Chambers Bank Rogers-New Hope Branch purchased toys for our kiddos. THANK YOU!
Look at these fantastic Christmas trees that the children at our Springdale center drew! Drawing helps to develop skills that they will need for writing.

The children at our Pat Walker center had an exciting socially distanced visit from Santa and Sparky!
These special guests arrived in the middle of a parade of Springdale emergency vehicles. The sirens, horns, and lights were fun to see and hear. In addition to the fantastic parade, the Springdale Fire Department purchased toys for all of the children through a donation made by Truity Credit Union.
Thank you to all that made this special for the kiddos!

One of the classrooms at our Oak center enjoyed celebrating the holidays by coordinating their festive plaid attire!

Thank you to the Smith Family for providing this wonderful donation of diapers, wipes, cleaning supplies, detergent, and coats! We appreciate your generosity and support of EOA Children's House.
The kiddos at our Springdale center enjoyed their holiday party!

Our North Street students enjoy painting with foam rollers!
Roller Painting provides the opportunity for expressive activities through the use of paint rollers. Children can create designs in a quick and easy way. It is also a great way to introduce children to textured materials.
