VITA Program
Have your taxes prepared for free by certified tax volunteers through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. There are several locations to chose from for your convenience.

EOA LIHEAP PROGRAM
The EOA Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists
low-income households with their heating and cooling energy costs.
Winter Assistance opened on
January 7, 2019
 and will run until funds are depleted.

February Activities:
In celebration of her 8th birthday, Emerson requested donations from her family and friends for
EOA Children's House.

Nurse Carlita visited the classrooms at EOA Children's House to talk to the kiddos about health bodies. The kids had fun listening to their heartbeat. Thank you, Nurse Carlita, for helping us stay healthy!






The children at our West Washington County center had fun with props for their current unit of study -
friendship and mail!




Arkansas 529 visited several centers in February to provide information for parents on the 529 college saving plan. Arkansas 529 provides $100 seed money to start an account for each child enrolled in an EOA Children's Services program.


Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce  Leadership Class and  Signature Bank of Arkansas  Fayetteville employees and customers collected art supplies, hygiene items, and toys for the kiddos at  EOA Children's House . Thank you for this FANTASTIC donation! 
Jambo, Hola, Hello! 

EOA Executive Director Delia Anderson Farmer presented information about EOA programs and services to a group with  Canopy NWA . Interpreters were onsite to help with those that only spoke Spanish or Swahili.



The Washington County Teen Leadership group visited the
Pat Walker Center for Children to learn about the mission of
EOA Children's House.
Miss Greater Little Rock, Bethany Kasper, visited some of our classrooms to read and interact with the children.
