Attendees will have opportunities to expand their networks and hear broader industry perspectives through several shared events, including Monday evening’s football-themed Welcome Reception and Tuesday morning’s Joint General Session featuring NFL Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith.
We look forward to a strong week of discussion, collaboration, and member engagement in Dallas.
| | Pesticide Policy Coalition Urges Registration Review Deadline Extension | |
The Pesticide Policy Coalition, of which CPDA is a member, sent a letter to congressional leadership this week urging Congress to extend EPA’s pesticide registration review deadline beyond the current October 1, 2026 deadline.
Under FIFRA, EPA periodically reviews existing pesticide registrations to account for new science, updated risk assessments, and changes in agricultural practices. While EPA has made progress, the Coalition noted that additional time is needed to complete these science-based reviews.
Both the House-passed Farm Bill and the Senate Agriculture Committee-passed Farm Bill include language extending the registration review deadline. With the October 1 deadline approaching, the Coalition asked Congress to include an extension in an appropriate legislative vehicle if the Farm Bill is not completed in time.
| | EPA Adds Bulletins Live! Two Email Alerts | |
EPA has launched a new email subscription feature for Bulletins Live! Two to help pesticide users stay current on Endangered Species Act requirements.
Subscribers can receive notifications when EPA adds new Pesticide Use Limitation Areas, updates existing PULAs, or makes other major changes to the Bulletins Live! Two system.
For applicators, retailers, registrants, and other pesticide users, the new feature provides another way to track location-specific requirements as EPA continues updating the system.
CPDA encourages members and their customers who rely on Bulletins Live! Two to subscribe for updates.
