Register for Webinar: EPA's New Customer Experience Project
RISE is hosting a webinar for PRIA coalition members, which includes CPDA, featuring OPP speakers on the first deployment of EPA’s new customer experience for pesticide submissions. This new OPP feature will eventually enable registrants to track their registration submissions in real-time, enhancing post-submission functionality and predictability. This webinar will highlight new login processes, role definitions, and administrator setup which. This new program will launch on December 20, 2024.
The webinar will be held on December 19, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. ET. During the webinar CPDA members will gain insight into the project’s development, informed by extensive stakeholder input, and learn about coming resources, including access to EPA’s user guide and future deployments of the system to increase the customer experience. CPDA was represented in this process by Jayne Walz of Helena and Jeremy Malone of Spring Regulatory.

FY 2025 Annual Pesticide Registration Maintenance Fee Updates
OPP has notified pesticide registrants that it has updated its annual pesticide registration maintenance fees webpage and fee tables. Registrants will need to access their product filing forms, pay maintenance fees, and return completed documents to EPA for processing by January 15, 2025.
Maintenance fees for each product will be $4,875, the same amount as for FY 2024. Maintenance fees are unchanged because collections closely matched the annual average collection target of $42,000,000 specified in PRIA V. Maintenance fees and registration fees together account for approximately one-third of funding for pesticide program activities, with the remaining funding appropriated by Congress.
All registrants with FIFRA Section 3 pesticide product registrations, including those that were initially registered by a state under FIFRA Section 24(c), will receive an email to notify them of the FY 2025 updates.
