EPHS Weekly is a weekly email communication for families that is sent every Monday morning.
It is intended to provide families updates on important happenings in our school.

A Message from the Principal

EPHS Families,

The last day of Term 1 is Thursday, November 11. Here at EPHS, our collective energy is focused on a strong finish for each of our students in each of their classes. If your teen has questions or is needing support, please encourage them to work directly with their teachers or reach out to another trusted adult. Throughout their high school years, our students will have moments where they are both giving help and getting help. Asking for help is the right thing to do and it is never too late to do the right thing. Grades will be posted to Infinite Campus at 4:00 pm on Monday, November 15. We look forward to seeing all that our students accomplish this week! Please celebrate those successes with them whenever you can.

JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (PAC)
November 12 - 13 & 18 - 20 at 7:00 pm
★ Matinee November 20 at 1:30 pm
  • Tickets are $7 for students and senior citizens and $9 for adults.
  • The Nov. 13 & 19 performances will be livestreamed.
  • Tickets for the livestream option are $7 for an individual or $15 for a family pass.  
FREE ACT PREPARATION PLATFORM FOR ALL JUNIORS! 
We are excited to announce this year all 11th grade students have access to a valuable resource called Methodize, provided by Eden Prairie Schools. It is loaded with questions, training and two full ACT tests with immediate results! Your junior should have set up access to their account during Connections class in October. Ask your student if they have completed this process. If they have not yet connected to Methodize it is posted at the top of their grade 11 Schoology page with step by step directions.

All Juniors will go through training on November 30, 2021 in Connections for a deeper dive. They will learn more about the function and use of the site with our Methodize representative virtually.
Again, this is up and running and is accessible at your student’s convenience to be prepared for our scheduled ACT test on March 8th, 2022.

Additional information will be forthcoming to provide parents with learning sessions as well!

Thank you to those who ordered student/family directories earlier this year. They should be distributed to your student in their Connections class this Tuesday. Please ask them about it if you don’t see it soon.
 
DINING FOR DOLLARS - UPCOMING EVENTS
Tuesday November 16th treat the family to Noodles & Co. in Eden Prairie and help raise money for the PTO! From 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Noodles will donate 25% of all orders when you mention Eden Prairie High School. You can even order online and use the coupon code “GIVING 25” when you check out. STATE TOURNAMENTS
 The EPHS Volleyball team has qualified for the MSHSL State tournament! The Eagles will take on Forest Lake on Wednesday, 11/10/2021 at 3:00 PM at the Xcel Energy Center.

 The EPHS football team has also qualified for the MSHSL State Football tournament. The Eagles will take on Farmington at Chanhassen High school on Friday, 11/12/2021 at 7:00 PM.
