ACT AND PRE-ACT TEST DATE: SOPHOMORES / JUNIORS
The ACT for Juniors and Pre-ACT for Sophomores will take place on March 8th at EPHS. All students are automatically registered for the exams at no cost and will test with their Connections advisors, case managers or counselors in small groups. Students in grades 9 and 12 and those who are not taking the exams will be home on this date.

  • Both tests will begin at 8:35 am. Students must arrive prior to 8:30 am and must remain in the testing area until the end of the test. If a student arrives late or must leave early, they will not be able to test.
  • Students taking the ACT will be using their school-issued computer to test. Bring both school-issued MacBook (fully charged) and charger to school on testing day. A personal laptop will not be allowed for testing.
  • Students must have a photo ID with them when they report to the testing room. This can be a driver’s license or a school ID. Students can also bring an ACT-approved calculator for the math portion of the exam.
  • All electronics should be powered off and stored securely for the duration of the test.
  • Lunch will be served after both tests are complete. Buses will depart at 1:20 pm and again at 3:20 pm. Students may be picked up or leave with their own vehicle after the test.
  • Encourage students to get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast the morning of the test. Breakfast will be served as usual in the East Commons.
