EP CONNECTS TONIGHT @ 7:00 PM! ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH WARNING SIGNS, STRATEGIES, & INTERVENTIONS
As Principal Virgin wrote in his newsletter message last week, the PTO is collaborating with EPHS Administration and Deborah Cavitt, an advocate, trainee, and project director for Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health (MACMH) to bring you important information on youth mental health. Youth mental health challenges have greatly increased during these unprecedented times. The COVID Pandemic, global warming, and world events have added to the everyday teenage stressors of homework, peer pressure and navigating relationships. This presentation will help parents distinguish between typical teen mood swings and troubled teen emotions and behaviors. Parents will learn to recognize signs of serious mental health concerns in teens. Strategies and resources will be shared for prevention and early intervention for teens in a mental health crisis. This event will be held virtually tonight, Monday April 4th starting at 7:00 p.m.. Find the Zoom link for this event here.
