Meet the 2026 EPIC Awards Honorees
| | Marilyn Camerota, MA, CPP | Administrative Director of Community Services, Memorial Healthcare System | Marilyn Camerota has over 25 years of experience serving at-risk communities across Broward County. As Administrative Director of Community Services at Memorial Healthcare System, she leads programs addressing mental health, substance use, homelessness, and family services. Her work has earned recognition from multiple national and state organizations. Marilyn also serves on local boards and collaborates across systems to improve community care. | Psychiatric RN, Broward Health Imperial Point | Kathy Campo is a Psychiatric Registered Nurse with a lifelong dedication to mental health care. She began working in the field as a teenager and has spent decades in psychiatric and assisted living settings. Since 1999, she has served in the emergency department within the North Broward Hospital District. Kathy is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach in high-acuity environments. | | Leilani “Lani” Fandino, LMHC, MHSA, MCAP | Director of Services, Adult Outpatient Services, Henderson Behavioral Health | | Lani Fandino is a behavioral health leader with nearly 30 years of experience in clinical care and program management. As Director of Adult Outpatient Services at Henderson Behavioral Health, she oversees multidisciplinary teams and system-wide operations. She is a licensed clinician, nationally certified counselor, and bilingual in English and Spanish. Lani is dedicated to expanding access and improving outcomes in behavioral health. | | Attorney, Law Offices of Larry S. Davis | Shana Korda is an attorney with over a decade of experience representing mental health treatment facilities and healthcare providers. Her work focuses on civil commitment, healthcare operations, and the intersection of mental health and the legal system. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University. Shana is recognized for her collaborative, solutions-focused approach across agencies and courts. | Managing Director of Administration & Quality Improvement, BBHC | Danica Mamby is the Managing Director of Administration and Quality Improvement at Broward Behavioral Health Coalition, specializing in compliance, strategic planning, and quality improvement. With a background in social work and public administration, she focuses on strengthening systems that support effective behavioral health services. She also serves as a CARF Administrative Surveyor, evaluating organizations nationwide. Danica is committed to accountability, service, and improving outcomes for communities. | | Peer Recovery Specialist, South Florida Wellness Network | | Arthur Rickett is a Peer Recovery Specialist and a person in long-term recovery. Drawing from lived experience, he supports individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. His work emphasizes connection, resilience, and meeting people where they are. Arthur is passionate about helping others build stable, meaningful lives in recovery. | |
