  • Announcement of The One – the world’s largest fresh cut Christmas Tree (140 ft) in Enid this year!

Join us at the groundbreaking of the Advance Soccer Complex
Enid, OK - Christmas Town U.S.A
Enid, Oklahoma will be the place to be this holiday season! The renderings for The One which is a 140 ft. Christmas tree was unveiled. The lighting of the tree will be on November 26th in conjunction with Enid's Light Up the Plains and will have ongoing activities over 42 days.

Combining The One with Enid's Holidays on Ice, Downtown Enid will be a great destination for people of all ages during the Christmas season.

There has been a lot of exciting things happen downtown over the past few years! We are proud to be a partner with Main Street Enid, Inc. and help support projects like their facade renovation grant.

“Film industry is alive and well in Oklahoma;” Fly Film Festival returns for 7th year
The film industry has taken off in Oklahoma!

Enid has been a part of the growth with the Fly Film Festival and being the filming location for a variety of movies like Wildlife, which featured Jake Gyllenhaal. Enid embraces the film industry and we look forward to working with more groups in the future as they produce their films in our state.

Congratulations Kyle Brownlee!
Congratulations to Wymer Brownlee's CEO Kyle Brownlee on being named one of Oklahoma's Most Admired CEO. This is Brownlee's third time to receive this honor.

ERDA Quarterly Luncheon Held
David Rowland, CEO of the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance served as the guest speaker during our Quarterly Luncheon on July 8. Dave provided excellent insight on the changes in the supply chain in a post-pandemic world.

ERDA’s next Quarterly Luncheon will be October 21st.
Sales Tax Up!
Enid collected $76,822,250.13 in sales tax for the month of May. The May 2021 receipts are up 4.48% compared to the same month last year! Overall, Enid sales tax revenue is up 2.02% YTD.

As the hub for retail, business, and healthcare for over 140,000 residents of NW Oklahoma, Enid is the place to be.

Enid's Hope Rising Community Assessment
Join fellow Enid and Garfield County residents and participate in the Hope Community Assessment. On October 7, 2021 Oklahoma’s First Lady Sarah Stitt will be hosting the first-ever Hope Summit in Enid. The mission of Hope Rising is to empower people, families, and communities to better their lives through the science of Hope. To help prepare for the summit, they are asking for residents of Enid and Garfield County to participate in a community assessment to best gauge our Hope Level. The assessment takes approx. 5-10 minutes and can be completed on a computer or mobile device.
