Charity - Family Promise of the Coastal Empire

ERICSA's goal is to better the communities we visit, this year we are happy to announce that our Charity is the Family Promise of the Coastal Empire (FPCE). ERICSA will hold a silent auction to benefit FPCE. Feel free to bring donations for the silent auction to the conference. They can be submitted to Loretta Everett in the General McIntosh room beginning on Monday, May 22.

Get ready to bid on some exciting silent auction items. We accept cash, check or credit card from winning bidders.

Suggested Dress Code

Trying to find a room temperature at which everyone can be comfortable is nearly impossible. Therefore, we recommend you bring a sweater and light jacket and dress in layers so you can adjust accordingly.

We suggest business-casual dress for all conference workshops. You are invited to wear your party clothes for the President’s Reception, but you will also be comfortable in business casual. Keep in mind it is a short walk to the reception. Don't forget to pack some denim and diamonds (preferably the fake kind) for the ERICSA Diamond Dinner Cruise.

It looks like rain is in the weather forecast for Savannah, so be sure to pack your umbrella!

The weather can change though, so plan accordingly.

President's Reception at Trustees' Garden

Plan to join us on Monday evening at the beautiful Venues at Trustees' Garden, Charles H. Morris Center, for our President’s Reception from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., just a short walk from the hotel. Alternate transportation will be provided to anyone that requested special accommodations on their registration form. A ticket is required for entry. This will be your first opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. Come and enjoy food and a cash bar as we honor and thank our current President, Laura Stone, for her service and leadership of ERICSA.

ERICSA Diamond Dinner Cruise

Meet in the lobby at 5:40 p.m. to walk to the dock - All Aboard as we set sail for an ERICSA Diamond Dinner Cruise with a unique dining experience that offers panoramic views of the Savannah River. We will all be wearing our DENIM and DIAMONDS as we enjoy a cash bar, DJ music, and dancing. The dock is an easy 10-minute walk from the hotel right along the river, and alternate transport will be provided to anyone that requested special accommodations on their registration form. A ticket is required for entry. We cannot wait to celebrate ERICSA’s 60th Diamond Anniversary with everyone!

ERICSA Business Meeting

Each year ERICSA holds its annual association meeting on the final day of the conference right after the full breakfast. This meeting includes the election of association officers and Board members for the following year and addresses any proposed association bylaw changes. You are invited to attend.

The meeting will be held on Friday, May 26 in Ballroom AB at 9:00 a.m.

CLE Information

Due to differences in State requirements for CLE, ERICSA is not identifying which workshops may be eligible for CLE. ALL workshops will have a sign-in sheet to prove attendance. Please sign in at any and all workshops you may want to submit to your State for CLE credit.

Please remember that ERICSA will NOT be applying for CLE credits on your behalf. It is your responsibility to self-report to each State. To assist you in this, ERICSA will provide a Certificate of Completion to those that paid the CLE fee in the registration area prior to leaving the conference. Speaker biographies and session descriptions are available on the app to aid you in your individual application process.
