This past Sunday, the 11:00 service opened with Rhys baptizing Dalton Shields, Oceanna Holcomb, and Hunter Burge. And, the 11:00 service closed with Leslie Lincoln and Jimmy & Ruth Brand responding to the invitation! Leslie and Ruth will be baptized this coming Sunday, and Jimmy joined by letter. Please welcome them to the “family,” if you haven’t already done so.

Also, I want to thank Gary Wayne Harbeson (8:30) and the Celebration Choir (both services) for the special music. It is so exciting to see how God is moving during this special season.   

Thank you to everyone who filled shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child! Boxes were still being dropped off today (Monday), so we will have a count soon.

Finally, I want to thank each of you for the generous love gift, cards, and personal comments I received in behalf of Pastor Appreciation Month. It is a blessing for me to be a part of this great church. I feel privileged to be able to serve the Lord alongside you. As I said Sunday, the staff and I get credit for the work of so many of you. Rhys, Brad, and I are blessed to be a part of a great staff who tends to the day-to-day needs, and a great body of believers who work hard and serve faithfully taking care of the work of the church. Thank you, Roseland Park!

I am looking forward to seeing you Sunday for another great day in the Lord’s house!
