I was thrilled to see this art on E. 7th Street. This beautiful piece with the Dakota place name for St. Paul, "Imniza Ska" (pron. im-nee-zah skah), is part of the East Side Sculpture Park curated by Indigenous Roots in collaboration with ESABA Member Dayton's Bluff Neighborhood Housing Services. Traditional Connections Exhibition opening is Aug 12. But first... mosey on over to your monitor for the return of East Side Connect! this Thursday, 11:00am with Workforce and Disability Awareness with MSS. We'll also share some info on supporting East Side youth - August is our month! Donate school supplies, volunteer, host a Community Resource Table with Family Values for Life's 12th Annual Back to School Event. - August 24th and East Side Youth Appreciation Day hosted by the Salvation Army on Aug 23rd. A little connecting, a little service - that's living our best summer selves.
