ESC 19 TIA Monthly Regional Meeting/Updates:

Our monthly ESC 19 TIA Regional Meeting/Updates is scheduled for this time. At this meeting, LEAs can expect to hear about TEA TIA updates relevant to the current TIA process and participate in an open forum to collaborate with fellow Region 19 TIA districts.

A Q&A session will occur. The meeting will span an hour, and an additional half hour is built in should LEAs need more networking time or hands-on support.

Timely Reminders and Updates


Data Submission Timeline

  • All districts will prepare for the fall 2025 Data Submission based on the previously accepted/approved system and data from 2024-2025.
  • The TIA portal began accepting files on August 4, 2025.
  • Districts are encouraged to log in to the portal and submit their files as early as possible to begin addressing any formatting errors identified by the portal. For technical error support, email tia@ttu.edu
  • Districts must submit their first-attempt data file to Texas Tech via the TIA online portal by 10:59 p.m. MST, Thursday, October 16, 2025.


  • Once districts have a completed data file, a new online TIA Data Analysis Tool is available for district utilization. Your ESC 19 TIA team is happy to provide support with the tool.


New: Submitted Teachers Checkpoint

  • Districts will receive the Submitted Teacher Checkpoint on October 17th, following the final submission deadline.
  • New Submitted Teachers Checkpoint: Due 10/21 - Districts will verify teacher list (with PEIMS & TX VAM) and designations. 


  • System Alignment Review: 10/22-11/21 TEA will review for alignment with the System of Record for the 2024-25 school year. The TIA team may reach out to districts if there are questions.

Texas Value-Added Model (VAM): Now Available


District testing coordinators in TIA districts with an accepted application will receive account information to access the Texas VAM data by mid-September following their Data Capture Year. Once signed in, they can grant access to other district staff. Email tia@tea.texas.org for support with district login information.


The Texas VAM data is what is used for evaluation purposes on Domain B: Checks 2-3 of the data validation process. Districts have the opportunity to use the Texas VAM data to reflect on how they might perform in checks 2 and 3 of the data validation process.
