Suzanne Southwell
We would like to recognize our longest tenured Ambassador for the Escondido Chamber of Commerce. Suzanne Southwell became an Ambassador in April of 2001.

We asked Suzanne a couple questions about her experience!

What was the greatest experience as an Ambassador?
Greatest experience as an Ambassador was being named the Ambassador of the Year, twice.

What should we know about you?
Know about me? I totally enjoy helping the people I meet in any way I can. That's why I love my work as an Insurance agent for 30 years, and I love being an Ambassador for the Escondido Chamber of Commerce. I want to provide the solution for a successful outcome, whether it's protecting their future or introducing them to an excellent new contact.

Please help us recognize Suzanne Southwell for all of her time and dedication she has given at the Escondido Chamber of Commerce!

Congratulations Susan on 17 Years!
The Center is seeking help with securing silent auction items for our annual Dancing With Our Stars fundraiser, which will be on April 7 th  in the Concert Hall. Our dancers have been rehearsing for months, many have already secured multiple donations, and ticket sales have begun! We’d love to make our silent auction a popular space at the event that will also generate high income for the Center! Of special interest are items/packages that are:

• Hotel or Spa Packages
• Brewery/Winery Donations or Tastings
• Restaurant Certificates
• Golf Packages
• Art and Jewelry pieces
• Cool Experiences
Our goal is to have every item/package have a minimum value of $100, so please reach out to businesses/contacts that you know that can provide us with some great items! Kari is the point person for this aspect of the event, so please contact her at  (760) 839-4187  or  kbishop@artcenter.org  if you would like to know which items we’ve received already or if you’d like to connect us with your contact to see what they’d like to donate. I’ve attached a request letter and donation form for use, as well as a Word version of the letter, should you want to list your own name as you send out to contacts.
