Is it already October?!
The kids are back in school, fall-themed decorations are everywhere (except at Costco where Christmas trees are already on sale), and election day is right around the corner. The Chamber is keeping pace and turning its attention to politics.
Join us on October 16, 2018 at the California Center for the Arts for the local candidate forum, where you can hear directly from the candidates about their opinions on local housing supply, plans for development in the City, the fate of the library and Grape Day Park, pension reform, and homelessness in Escondido.
Regardless of your political persuasion, these are issues that impact the viability of our businesses and our community and they are sure to be discussed at this year's local candidate forum.
We will be paying close attention and weighing the candidates' comments heavily as election day approaches.
October is sure to be a busy month. Be sure to check out the Chamber's website for all of the details on what is coming! I hope to see you soon.
