Where does the time go? Funny how things work, the things that seem to matter most get all jumbled up with the other stuff. Has it always been this way? Daylight savings time received voter approval in November and it's time for Sacramento to listen to the people and act. So once Sacramento wastes more time and finally moves this forward, it then is literally going to take an Act of Congress to get it approved. No kidding, an Act of Congress. California is one of 38 other states looking to head the voice of their constituents and save our sunshine time. This can't come soon enough.
Ok, now that that's off my chest.
The Chamber hosts many opportunities for members and prospective members to participate in. Last week we enjoyed an energy induced Lunch Bunch group, a couple dozen such friends at The Brigantine. A warm lunch made comfortably warmer with new friends being made and valuable business opportunities germinated. Join us at any one of many monthly opportunities your Chamber fosters. The Chamber brings unique and exclusive resources to our members which cannot be duplicated, our network of advisors is unparalleled. But, our biggest source of value is our human resource; each other. Our members are there to support each other and help each other succeed. There's a spirit of camaraderie, our 109-year-old heritage shining brightly. The strength and value of your Chamber has never been stronger, and we've only just begun.
Stayed tuned.
Have a great Labor Day weekend.
