In the post-election haze, I invite you to do as Joan Garry says in her  post-election blog, focus on "what really matters." At ESC of New England, what really matters is this: continuing to support nonprofits. We are proud to work with nonprofits of every type and stripe. The dedication of our Board, staff, consultants, and Encore Fellows show that we will continue to deliver on our 34-year promise to give nonprofits the best strategies and tools they need to succeed at their mission.

Last week I was reminded of this dedication and promise at our Annual Celebration of Service. We honored five consultants for their work with our clients, recognized six Encore Fellows for the completion of their fellowships at nonprofits, and heard from clients who spoke to the long-lasting impact of our work. Many thanks to Jill Foster of  The Discovery Museums, Deb Samuels of  Crossroads, and Jim Bunnell of the  Talking Information Center for their inspiring comments.

Please know that we are a place you can turn to if you or an organization you know needs assistance in these uncertain times. I wish you the all the best as you honor the service of our veterans and celebrate the season of thanks.

I look forward to building a better world with you because, without doubt, we are better together.
