PUZZLE PROGRAM

JLR Puzzles offers a Mental Aerobics Therapeutic Magnetic Puzzle Program that is applicable for both the highly intellectual and the mentally challenged (those with autism, cerebral palsy, dementia and the early stages of Alzheimer's). This program has hundreds of puzzle designs, card game patterns for matching and activity sheets for a variety of cognitive levels.

FUND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Mill Woods Seniors Association

The Mill Woods Seniors Association (MWSA) has an opportunity for an innovative and self-motivated team player to join the organization as a Fund Development Coordinator. The Fund Development Coordinator is responsible for revenue generating activities including execution of fundraising by increasing contract, grant and other fundraising revenue and by generating donations and sponsorship agreements from new and existing donors. Much of the role will involve developing systems and procedures around fund development. This is a term position until December 31, 2016 with the potential to become permanent.

JOHN W. BILSLAND AWARD
Strathcona Place Senior Society

Writers aged 55 years and older who live in the Greater Edmonton area are eligible to submit unpublished work to be considered for the 2016 John W. Bilsland Award of Literary Excellence for Senior Writers. Prizes of $500 will be awarded in each of three categories: short fiction, short non-fiction and poetry.

TESTERS NEEDED FOR ONLINE CENSUS PLATFORM

The City of Edmonton Elections and Census office is looking for individuals to test and provide comment on the online census platform that will be used in 2016. The information provided from this testing will ensure that the online census platform is created in an inclusive way for all residents of Edmonton.
 
Testing will be performed from Tuesday, March 15 to Friday, March 18. Participants will complete a test census online and provide critique of the system to ensure usability for all individuals completing the census online. If you are interested in participating contact Iain McLean at iain.maclean@edmonton.ca and a link to the online system and a log in will be provided.
