Dear ESF Community,

As you may have heard, a New York State Supreme Court ruled yesterday that the Governor’s mask mandate was unconstitutional. However, this ruling does not change SUNY’s mask mandate. 

ESF’s current COVID Alert Level is RED, which requires that everyone on campus, regardless of vaccination status, must always wear a mask indoors and when in the presence of others outdoors. We believe that masks are an effective mitigation tool and should be maintained. ESF’s masking guidance is found here.
