Oh my!  We know we are woefully behind in sharing all the good things God is doing in and through ESUMC Prague!  Although we post to our ESUMC Facebook page, we know all of you don't see it.
LIKE US and you will!   www.facebook/esumcprague.

The best way to catch you up after all this time is to let the photos do the talking.
  Words will provide important details.

Photos are grouped in the following categories:

Worship, Bible Study, English Club and Children's Libary,
Student Ministry and International Women's Choir

Finally, look for a FUTURE PLANS section.

ENJOY!

Please know, it would be impossible for us to be here and for ESUMC Prague to exist without your faithful  prayers and generous support.  Come see us for yourself!

God Bless You!

For weekly worship, we average between 8 at our lowest and 15 at our highest.  On special Sundays we have more.   Through personal invitation and our Facebook and
website presence
, we are receiving more visitors with 5 new guests just this month.  Building the church in Europe and with busy/traveling internationals (and in a former Communist country) takes prayer, time and patience....and of course--
lots of coffee dates with new
friends!

We are a church..
so we share weekly devotions with Moms and Kids.  The theme is usually tied to the reading of an English book and then a craft/game/video follows.  This particular book is used weekly and was a gift from one of our Johnson City District pastors.

To date, we now have or 100 English Language Books for kids.
Each week, the kids find the books they want and check them out.   The kids match the picture with the book (alphabetized too for older kids) when checking out their book.
Once they 'sign' their book (s) back in,
they can choose new ones!

Ministry with Church Campus University Students
In early 2010, the Czech District renovated an old pension on our church campus in order to provide affordable housing for students of all denomnations who profess faith Christ and are attending unversities in Prague.   They have morning devotions 4 days a week
and  Monday night worship service led by capable Czech pastors.  But they also approached Gary and me fall 2011 with a desire for fellowship time to
practice the English...  We LOVE these 'kids!'  Makes us feel young again!

So much happens in-between newsletters! The best way to keep up-to-date is
to LIKE US on www.facebook.com/ESUMCPrague
and to subscribe to our website at www.esumcprague.org
Both sites are updated regularly, featuring many more photos from our work.
We will be home early June to July 4th for Annual Conference and visits in our
Partner Churches.
Look for an e-mail to schedule the best time for our visit as we
our share our work in photos and story

Consider visiting youself and/or bringing a church team to see first-hand how
God is at work in Eastern Europe, behind the former iron curtain.
