Education Through Music-Los Angeles is honored to be an LA2050 Award Recipient for the second consecutive year! The movement of LA2050 was started by the Goldhirsh Foundation in collaboration with tens of thousands of Angelenos with the goal “to make Los Angeles the best place to connect, create, learn, live, and play” by the year 2050.

ETM-LA believes all students deserve a well-rounded education that includes music as a core subject during the school day and beyond. The LA2050 Award is provided in partnership with the John N. Calley Foundation.

“We are so honored to be an LA2050 grantee again this year. Our vision for the future of LA is that ALL students – our leaders of today and tomorrow – can thrive. LA2050 and the Calley Foundation are helping further equity and access for all youth to receive comprehensive music and arts learning as part of a well-rounded STEAM education,”

says ETM-LA Executive Director Victoria Lanier.
