NEW MANUAL ON QUALITY ASSURANCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION IS OUT
|
EURASHE proudly presents to the Higher Education community Lucien Bollaert’s book
“A Manual for Internal Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Looking for a new quality in HE in a New World”.
This 2
nd edition is not only an update but also an enlarged edition. All chapters have been updated with new approaches and research, this time also from outside Europe based on his own experiences and lecturing in the USA and elsewhere. Amidst all the changes a new chapter on the challenging future of QA, including the new leadership and how to address quality culture has been added, all starting from the definition of quality as added value in a new international context.

SAVE THE DATE: EURASHE AFTERNOON DEBATE “HIGHER EDUCATION IN EUROPE: PLAY TO WIN”

While the 2019 European Parliament elections are approaching, EURASHE teamed up with the #ThisTimeImVoting campaign to address the importance of voting and to discuss the role of Higher Education in today’s society.
The afternoon debate
“Higher Education in Europe: Play to Win” will take place on the
29th of April 2019 from
14:30 to 18.00 at the European Parliament and will be a privileged occasion for HE professionals and students to share their experiences, visions, and ideas.

EURASHE BOARD ELECTIONS: MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO NOMINATE THEIR CANDIDATES
|
EURASHE encourages its full members to nominate the candidates for the election of
two new Board members
. The election will take place during the upcoming
General Assembly on the 15
th
May 2019 in Budapest, Hungary
, one day before the 29
th
Annual Conference.
The newly elected members will take over Stéphane
Lauwick's and Ulf-Daniel Ehlers’ positions for a
mandate of 2 years
.

NEW EURASHE MEMBER-HU UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES UTRECHT
|
HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht provides education for students and professionals aged 17-67. Currently, around 35,000 students, spread over 22 locations in Utrecht and Amersfoort, attend the programmes and courses. HU works in close cooperation with companies, institutions, educational partners and local and regional governments.
Currently, EURASHE has 62 members which represent more than 650 higher education institutions around the world. Last year EURASHE joined three new members from Germany, Kosovo and the Netherlands.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR EIT DIGITAL 2020 IS LAUNCHED. DEADLINE: 3 MAY
|
EIT Digital is launching a call for proposals for the construction of the “EIT Digital 2020” activities.
EIT Digital 2020 is aimed at entrepreneurial minds planning to launch a digital tech startup or product, or to deliver entrepreneurial digital tech education programmes.
We invite all our interested members to submit their proposals for the
EIT Digital Innovation Factory, which support pan European entrepreneurial teams to launch new startups and new products, and/or for the
EIT Digital Entrepreneurship Academy, which provides education support for developing programmes and course with business development-oriented components.
