PROCSEE 2nd PHE Excellence forum 

The second PROCSEE project PHE Excellence Forum was held in Vis (Croatia) on 30 May - 3 June. The forum brought together around 40 experts from 12 countries around Europe to analyse good practice cases and to come up with a set of recommendations to tackle the challenges faced by the professional higher education (PHE) sector in Central and Southeastern Europe.

BEEHiVES project surveys

The BEEHiVES project is mapping the barriers for collaboration within the strategical triangle and has launched three stakeholder surveys on the barriers for collaboration between institutions, students and the world of work.

EQUIP project focus groups explore QA challenges 

The EQUIP project, led by EURASHE, has held a series of focus group events over the last three months for a variety of higher education stakeholders in order to explore their different perceptions on quality assurance (QA) and on how to approach some of the current challenges.

New coordinator for the UAS4EUROPE network

EURASHE has led the network and activities of UAS4EUROPE , as the biggest organisation, since its launch on 31 May 2016.  On 1 June 2017 EURASHE handed over the rotating coordination to swissuniversities, which will chair the network until 31 May 2018 before UASnet. 

UAS4EUROPE is a joint initiative from EURASHE, UASnet, swissuniversities, Hochschule Bayern e.V. and the Austrian FHK.

The EC renewed modernisation agenda for higher education 

The European Commission has renewed the modernisation agenda for higher education. The topic will also be discussed in the EURASHE Networking event on Modernisation of higher education on 16 June. more

EURASHE participation in BFUG and EQAR meetings 

EURASHE president Stéphane Lauwick and Sercetary General Michal Karpísek attended on 24-25 May the Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) meeting in Gozo (Malta), hosted under the auspices of the Maltese Presidency of the Council of the EU and co-chaired by Malta and Norway.                                                        
The call for contributions to the 12th European Quality Assurance Forum 

The call for contributions to the 12th European Quality Assurance Forum, with the theme "Responsible QA: committing to impact" is open until 24th July 2017. You can find the call details here.

The registrations to this years' forum, hosted by the University of Riga from 23-25 November, will open by the end of June. Stay tuned!
