Workshop on Teaching Excellence on

EURASHE will organise together with colleagues of the TEACHEX project a Workshop on Teaching Excellence in Brussels (Belgium) on 16 May. The workshop will present issues related to teaching excellence and the various modules that are being piloted.

Position paper on permeability

EURASHE position paper on permeability between professional higher education and vocational education and training was approved by the General Assembly in its meeting in Le Havre (France). It emphasises the need for effective, flexible learning pathways within the changing learning patterns.

PROCSEE policy statement

The PROCSEE project on 'Strengthening Professional Higher Education and VET in Central & South Eastern Europe' has published its first Policy Challenge Statement for Professional Higher Education in Central and South-Eastern Europe. The policy statement is the result of extensive expert work through the project national and international expert networks.

TACTIC project seminar

EURASHE hosted a week-long TACTIC project seminar for higher education institutions' leadership from Mongolia, Cambodia and Vietnam. The 15 Partners discussed in Brussels the good practices of European HE and their possible transfer to Asian countries.

EURASHE Committee for Strategic Advice 

The EURASHE Committee for Strategic Advise (CSA) had its meeting in Brussels on 16 March. The CSA is a consultative and advisory body committee, which comprises of stakeholders from European enterprises and public sector. EURASHE appreciates the input from the stakeholders to its policies.

EURASHE statement on changes to the Hungarian National Higher Education Act 

EURASHE has published a statement to express its strong concern about the legislative changes and to express its solidarity with the Central European University d ue to the recent amendment of the Hungarian National Higher Education Act CCIV of 2011.

Staff changes within the Secretariat 

Alexandre Wipf had his last working day in the EURASHE Secretariat on 26 April , we are grateful for his contribution over the past 5 years and would like to wish him success in his further career . The new Secretariat staff member Fernando Miguel Galán Palomares has started as  Project Officer coordinating projects and quality assurance related activities, in which  he will develop further his expertise from his position as past ESU president.
